Virtues of Surah Kahf 

Hadith No. 1

Hazrat Bara bin Azib (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that a companion was reciting Surah Kahf and a horse was tied to one side of him by two ropes. After listening to the recitation, he began to shake his neck happily. In the morning, this companion recited the matter to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of God be upon him, and the Prophet, peace and blessings of God be upon him, said that it was Sakina, meaning mercy, which was revealed due to the recitation of Surah Kahf. Hadith No. 2

It was narrated from Hazrat Abu Darda that the Messenger of Allah, may God bless him and grant him peace, said that whoever memorizes the first ten verses of Surah Kahf, he will always be protected from the temptation of Dajjal (Muslim Sharif).

Hadith No. 3  

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Darda that the Messenger of Allah, may God bless him and grant him peace, said that whoever remembers the first three verses of Surah Kahf, he will be safe from the temptation of Dajjal (Tirmidhi Sharif).

Hadith No. 4 

It is narrated on the authority of Hazrat Abu Darda that the Messenger of Allah, may God bless him and grant him peace, said that whoever recites the last ten verses of Surah Kahf, he will be safe from the temptation of Dajjal (Muslim Sharif).

Hadith No. 5

Hazrat Muadh bin Anas Jahni (RA) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said, “Whoever recites the first and last parts of Surah Kahf, then he will be enlightened from head to toe.” If he recites it, it will become a light for him from the earth to the sky (Musnad Ahmad).

Hadith No. 6 

It is narrated on the authority of Hazrat Abdullah bin Umar that the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) said, “Whoever recites Surah Kahf on Friday, on the Day of Judgment, there will be light for him from the heavens and the earth, and his sins will be forgiven between two Fridays. (Tafseer Ibn Kathir)

Hadith No. 7 

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Saeed Al-Khudri (RA) that the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said that whoever recites Surah Al-Khaf on Friday, for him there will be light until the House of Allah.

Hadith No. 8 

It is narrated on the authority of Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA) that the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said that a person who recites Surah Kahf on Friday, i.e. at any time of the day, will be protected from all temptations for a whole week. Even if Dajjal comes out, he will be safe from him (Ibn Kathir). 

Wazaif of Sura e Kahf

This surah is very effective for paying off debt, stopping the enemy's language, removing poverty, getting rid of oppressors, protecting pregnancy.

An elder says that for debt relief, sit in the mosque after Friday prayer and read this surah once with sincerity. After prostrating and supplicating before Allah to clear the debt, God willing, it will be accepted until the debt is cleared, then continue reading every Friday.

For the protection of pregnancy, a woman should recite this surah for forty days after Fajr prayer. Inshallah, her pregnancy will be safe from all diseases and her children will be born healthy and sound.

If a person is suffering from poverty and there is no source of sustenance for him, then he should recite this surah for eleven days after Isha prayer.

By reading Surah Al-Kahf, wisdom are also created in a person. The wealth and adornment of the world are hatched in his eyes. Allah open many ways of wisdom for him even the world will be surprised on condition of he stand on earth. If he wants to know about something from Allah Ta'ala, he should recite Surah Kahf for seven days after Maghrib prayer, then Allah Ta'ala will inform him about it in one way or another.

A person who recites this surah twice daily for at least forty days, the belief of monotheism will be firmly established in his heart, all matters will be revealed to him like the light of day, on which he will be able to fulfill the requirements of monotheism.

If a man or woman recites this surah once a month, breathes on water and sprinkles it on the four corners of the roof of his house, then that house will be safe from the attacks of evil spirits and devils.

Guidance is from Allah, but only he who seeks guidance gets it, so whoever wants to know that his life is based on guidance or not, he should recite Surah Kahf for twenty one days for one time after Fajr prayer. Allah will establish the right path in his heart, and honesty and truth will come in his dealings.

Therefore, this surah has immense benefits, in view of the need, if this surah is recited, then Allah Almighty will fulfill that need with His mercy. Reciting it a thousand times a day for the sake of God's pleasure increases the strength of faith and the heart Illuminated by light of Allah.
