Virtues of Surah Naba 

In this surah, Allah has given the news of the Resurrection and the Hereafter, that is why it is called Surah An-Naba. 

Hadith No. 1

It was narrated from Hazrat Abi bin Ka'b that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Whoever recites Surah An-Naba, Allah will make him drink pure wine on the Day of Resurrection." (Tafseer ul Kashaf) 

Hadith No. 2

It is narrated from Hazrat Qatadah (RA) that when the Prophet (PBUH) mentioned the Day of Judgment in front of the people, they became frightened and asked each other what they had brought about, on which this surah was revealed. In it, evidence has been established for the disbelievers of the Day of Resurrection and life after death has been proved, heaven and hell have been mentioned, and the great blessings of Allah have been described. (Rooh ul Mani) 

Wazaif of Surah Naba

By reciting it frequently in the nights of virtue, fear of God will be created in the heart. According to an elder, whoever makes it a habit to recite this surah once after every prayer, his eyesight will never be impaired by the mercy and grace of Allah. It will not happen and will remain until death.

If there are vermin living in a place, read this surah eleven times and sprinkle it on water, God willing, the vermin will leave there.

A person who wants to get rid of his faults and shortcomings and become a good person should start praying five times regularly, observe chastity, fast, perform important duties such as Hajj and Zakat. If he fulfills his promise to the people, he should make it a habit to read Surah An-Naba once a day and continue for a year. By the grace of Allah, the mentioned qualities will be born in this person and he will remain as a good person in this world and in the hereafter.

Recitation of this surah once after Asr prayer creates light of faith in the heart and by the grace of God, end will be blessed with faith and the Kalma will be blessed at the time of death. The reader of this surah gets immense respect.
