Virtues of Surah Waqia 

This surah is very blessed. Here are the sayings about its excellence. 

Hadith No 1

Al-Bayhaqi has narrated in Sha'b al-Iman that Ibn Mas'ud (RA) said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) saying that a person who recites Surah Al-Waqia every night will never be hungry. 

Hadith No 2

It was narrated from Hazrat Abdullah bin Masoud (RA) that I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, saying that a person who recites Surah Al-Waqia every night will never be hungry.  Ibn Mas'ud (RA) used to order his daughters to read this surah every night. 

Hadith No 3

Hazrat Ibn Masood (RA) was suffering from death, Hazrat Usman (RA) went to visit him and said to him, "What if I give you treasure?" He said: I don't need it. Hazrat Uthman said: It will be useful for your girls later. Hazrat Ibn Masood said: You are afraid of hunger regarding my girls. I have ordered them to recite Surah Al-Waqia every night because I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying that a person who recites Surah Al-Waqia every night will never suffer from hunger. Ibn Kathir 

Hadith No 4

Hazrat Ibn Mardawiyyah narrated on the authority of Hazrat Anas that the Messenger of Allah, may God bless him and grant him peace, said, "Teach your wives Surah Al-Waqia because this surah is the surah of wealth (Rooh-ul-Mani) 

Hadith No 5

It was narrated from Hazrat Anas that the Messenger of Allah, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: Surah Al-Akhbar is a surah that relieves the needlessly, so read it yourself and teach it to your children. (Dar-Mansoor) 

Wazaif of Surah Waqia 

(1)

If a person recites it 41 times daily for a year, his sustenance will be abundant because the person who recites it will become rich and it will become easy to obtain sustenance. 

(2)

If this surah is recited in the graveyard and sitting at the head of the deceased's grave, and after that one prays for the forgiveness and salvation of the deceased, then the torment of the grave will be relieved, but this action should be done continuously for forty days.

If a person suffers a loss in production, he should read this Surah three times and before sowing seeds, breathe on the seeds, then cultivate these seeds, the production will increase and the crop will be protected from all disasters.

Those who are suffering from poverty, poverty and starvation and the economic hardship cannot be removed in any way, then they should pray two rakats of Nafil after Ishraq prayer and then recite Surah Al-Waqia three times. Allah Ta'ala will remove the hardship of livelihood

Whoever makes it a habit to read Surah Al-Waqia once at the place of business, it will lead to an increase in his business.

The knowledge of Sukrat is very strict on human beings, therefore, whoever recites Surah Al-Akhbaat in the nights of excellence and continues this routine throughout his life, then the time of death will come to him, so may Allah ease his knowledge. He will not suffer at all while passing away and it will be easy to enter the grave 

(7)

If a woman is about to give birth to a child, recite this surah seven times over a small amount of water and drink it, then, God willing, the pain during childbirth will be reduced and the child will be born easily.
